Calumet Public Schools is proposing the construction of a new Performing Arts & Event Center that will serve both the school and the wider community. This modern facility will host:

💰 How Is It Funded?

• Total Project Cost: $12,175,000.00

• Total Bond Amount: $6,175,000.00

• Private Donation: $6 million from a generous donor!

• Tax Impact: There is *no projected tax increase* as a result of this bond

• Around 88% of Calumet’s total tax valuation comes from oil, gas, and wind corporations — meaning local taxpayers carry a smaller portion of the cost

• The large parking lot will offer ample parking for large events, both at the Performing Arts Center and local events.
