Basketball Gate Policy

3rd-6th grade runners finished out the XC season this morning by running up Mt. Scott! Ryder Garrett & Laila White were our first boy/girl finishers, but we are immensely proud of all of them! That is a very steep 2.75(ish) miles to the top and they did fantastic! 🧡🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼 If you zoom in on the last picture, see if you can spot our bus at the bottom! Members of the Calumet High School Esports team are in Mustang competing in their first Super Smash Brothers tournament of the season!

Elementary XC left bright and early for their meet at Hennessey! Our 4th grade and under girls team placed 2nd as a group! Arrelyn Muskett placed 3rd and Oliva Garrett came in 5th! Our 5 & 6th grade boys team place 3rd overall with Ryder Garrett coming in 15th and Hayden Gross 24th. Good day to be a Chieftain!

Thank you for all the support during our Fall Scholastic Book Fair! It has been AMAZING. Even after a restock order we still sold out of several titles! Tomorrow is the last day to shop in person but you can still order online all next week.

The XC team met at Concho to run tonight! Huge thank you to the tribe for allowing us to use their trail for training this evening and to Coach Garrett for driving the bus out there! AJ Muskett & Olivia Garrett went home with The Golden Sneaker for being great teammates and doing the right thing!

We got to celebrate our GRAND-friends this morning with breakfast and the book fair! It was so great to see everyone and extra special to have Dr. Weldon return as a breakfast guest! We had an amazing turn out and can't thank everyone enough for supporting our book fair! Mrs. Kate has done a fabulous job at setting it up and you can make purchases all week long!

🥎⚾️Tuesday, September 12 - Today's Junior High & High School Baseball and Softball games have been canceled due to rain. ⚾️🥎

Shawn Davis, Mrs. Renbarger, Mrs. Jech, and the elementary cross country team took part in The Great American Relay this morning! 9.11 miles was split between the runners and the elementary students got to cheer on everyone as they crossed the finish line! Huge thank you to everyone to pitched in to help make it special for the kids! & to Shawn for getting it set up again this year! We had a blast and can't wait until next year!

These cross country kids are TOUGH. They showed up tonight, pushed themselves, and we got better. Two athletes went above and beyond and got to take home The Golden Sneaker Award for being great teammates and setting goals to push themselves!

Calumet Public School will not be in session on Friday, September 8th. The funeral service for Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Lt. Governor, Gib Miles, will be in the Calumet Gymnasium at 10 a.m. Gib was a loyal supporter of the students of Calumet Public School. He will be missed.

Another XC Meet in the books and it was a hot one! We came home with lots of medals and even a 1st & 2nd place in the 4-6th age group! Hayden Gross & Ryder Garrett were neck and neck the whole race fighting for 1st! A true photo finish & Mrs. Stilley caught it for us!
