5th & 6th Grade put on the first ever "Calumet Thanksgiving Day Parade"!
The students had to design and creative their float from start to finish & write a persuasive essay convincing the judges why they should win!
They all got to participate in an actual parade for the rest of the elementary! It was so much fun!

We had 3 students participate in the SW District American Farmers and Ranchers speech contest in Cache tonight. Results include:
Merritt Major- Champion Novice AFR/OFU Division!!
Rance Nitzel- Runner-Up Intermediate Agribusiness Division!!
Bella Dean- 5th Place Intermediate Ag Science Division!!
Merritt and Rance qualified for the state contest in December!!

Some of our FFA officers had a great time traveling to Indianapolis to receive their 3-Star National Chapter Award!
It was a quick trip, but they enjoyed seeing new sites and attending the convention.
5th and 6th grade field trip to Concho for Native American Cultural Awareness Day. Thank you to the Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribe for hosting us! The students got to participate in several different stations where they learned about the history of the tribes, their native languages, and so much more. Then we all got to take part in a mini powwow. It was a great day!
